Friends of Bukit Dinding (FoBD) is a registered non-profit dedicated to protecting and conserving Bukit Dinding, amongst Kuala Lumpur’s last green fortress.
The FoBD logo features the striking and distinctive Black Bat Flower (Tacca Chantrieri). Its unique flower reflects the community's curiosity. The many filament whiskers symbolized the shared sense of responsibility. The deep purple hue conveys a harmony and vitality, embodying the balance between nature and urban life. This logo becomes our representation of the mission to conserve this urban forest for generations to come.
Through collaborations, FoBD organizes multi-faceted programs such as tree planting, trail maintenance, slope restoration, data collection, scientific excursions and surveys. You too can be a part of this great movement and advocate for the protection of our green space and a sustainable Kuala Lumpur!
